Why you need to use Essential Oil Diffusers in Hotels and Air BNB's

[travellers - listen up.] 🌊✈️🎧

The first thing I do when reaching any new destination is pop the diffuser on.

Firstly to cleanse the room, and secondly to support my nervous, respiratory and immune system.

Here’s why:

> My nervous system is always a little bit crazed after travelling. The plane, people in my space, new environments and being out of my routine are some basic reasons.

I appreciate the ritual of having our hotel room feel / smell like home.

It’s what we call olfactory anchoring - the process of establishing a conscious anchor (smell) that evokes a chosen emotional state.

I especially love using @doterra lavender and @doterraau black spruce together which reminds me of the blend I use in our bedroom at home.

> My respiratory and immune system can use a bit of a pick-me-up after airplane vents and constant air-conditioning. Some recent studies do in fact suggest that traveling, especially flying, can have a negative effect on your immune system, thus making it easier for you to get sick, so apart from a bunch of proactive activities I do pre and post flying, using the diffuser when I reach my destination, is an absolute must.

For this is use OnGuard with an added kick of tea tree (for that super fresh clean smell) - on guard blend with all its immune protecting oils and tea tree for its extra antibacterial functionality.

Don’t take my word for it …

“Medical News Today reports that using your diffuser consistently had been shown to reduce nausea, anxiety, agitation, stress, depression, fatigue and insomnia, headaches. It also helps you breathe easier, clears your sinuses and reduces congestion, protects against airborne pathogens therefore reducing illness and overall helps/enhances sleep and mood.”

So it’s smells wonderful and it’s good for your health.

Double whammy.
